Designed as a continuation of Yamaha's groundbreaking DM7 series, the Yamaha DM3 series has become the new standard for versatility and portability. The series includes two models, the DM3 Standard and the DM3, which is fully compatible with Dante technology and allows for faster and easier multi-device setup. Both models have a multilingual user interface that can be configured for use by users with different backgrounds and skill levels.

The DM3 series is characterized by its low weight of just 6.5 kg and a robust housing that can withstand the rigors of a tour. Both models are equipped with two multi-effects processors that offer 18 high-quality effects, including the new REV HD and REV R3, which debuted in Yamaha mixers. The DM3 Series also features the DM3 Editor, DM3 StageMix and MonitorMix, which allow sound engineers and performers to finalize their setup before the show and control the mixer remotely from the stage.

The DM3 series is equipped with many analog I/O and a USB interface and offers all the functions required for streaming. The compact body also allows for flexible audio routing to create separate mixes for on-site sound and for streaming use. The Dante-equipped DM3 is ideal for standalone operation or as part of a larger network system with multiple consoles and is the ideal mixer in confined spaces or for any system expansion.

The DM3 console system can be combined as a controller unit with a digital audio workstation and supports a variety of DAW software suites. It also comes with the powerful Cubase AI software platform and offers smooth control of monitor levels via the faders and custom buttons. The DM3 offers high-quality 96kHz sound with 16 analog inputs and eight outputs with the lowest latency and harmonizes perfectly with the Tio1608-D I/O rack for even easier and faster system setup. Both DM3 models support multitrack recording via USB to Host, while the Dante-compatible DM3 also allows multitrack recording with the Dante Virtual Soundcard.
