Description

The VIS-INT64 is a double desk for the use of two interpreters alternately in translation operations. All relevant operational settings can be made by the interpreters themselves at the respective desks.

Characteristics

In a soundproof cabin, the interpreter's desk is used as the most important tool for the simultaneous translators. The control panel of the VIS-INT64 is designed as a double console for the use of two interpreters alternately for seamless translation operations. All relevant settings for operation (e.g. listening/relay channels as well as output channels directly or in A/B mode) can be made by the interpreters themselves at the respective desks, before and even during the interpreter's assignment.
At the interpreter's desk, it is optional The speaker's original language is listened to via loudspeakers or headphones and simultaneously translated. In addition, the relay channel, which can be freely selected on the desk, allows the preset translation of another interpreter to be accessed at the push of a button without any audio dropouts (cabin pivot) if the speaker's original language is not fluent. Of course, you can just as quickly switch back to the original language. The selectable speech and relay channels can be visualized and the elapsed translation time can be displayed on the large, high-contrast display.
The active translation operation of the interpreter desk is shown via a clearly visible red on-air signal.
With a call button can be communicated directly with a service technician.
Using the mute function (throat clearing button), the audio transmission into the system can be interrupted for the duration of the operation.
