The WTR06 is a 100-volt line transformer for impedance matching between low-impedance speakers (8 ohms) and 100-volt amplifiers. With the help of the WTR06 line transformer, low-impedance loudspeakers can be connected to any 100-volt sound system where long cable runs can be used. The WTR06 has a maximum output power of 6 watts and various power taps for 6 watts, 3 watts and 1.5 watts. The housing is designed to be waterproof and dustproof and can be hidden anywhere, e.g. above false ceilings, in wall junction boxes, in cavities within walls, etc. The primary connection (100V side) is made via a specially designed waterproof AWX5 plug, The desired power tap can be selected depending on the rotation of the plug. The secondary connection (8 ohm side) is designed with a waterproof cable socket. A connection cable with a length of 0.5 meters is provided on both sides of the transformer. The oversized core of the transformer limits saturation to a minimum and ensures a remarkable improvement in sound reproduction, especially in the low frequency range. Due to all these features, these transformers comply with protection class IP66.
