The AUDAC TR106 is a shielded audio transformer with true isolation.
Hum in audio systems is usually caused by ground loops in the system.
A common mode current flows in a ground loop created by an electrical system grounded at different voltage potentials.
This results in a 50 Hz hum in the audio signal, which can be avoided using an audio transformer.
The AUDAC TR106 with an input and output impedance of 600 ohms and a gear ratio of 1:1 has a very wide bandwidth and very low distortion, ensuring undistorted bass reproduction and undamped high frequencies.
