The SMA series includes a range of 2-channel power amplifiers that set a new standard for affordable amplifier solutions for fixed installations and mobile applications. The power amplifiers are available with different channel configurations and output powers, offering enormous flexibility for a variety of applications.

The two-channel Class D power amplifier SMA500 offers an output power of 500 watts per channel. The WaveDynamics DSP and the 2.5 LC display ensure unrivaled user-friendly operation with an intuitive function overview for easy configuration. The sound characteristics can be optimized using the integrated low, high and bandpass filters as well as the 7-band EQ, each with variable frequency and Q factor. A delay and a dynamic bass boost are also available. All settings can be adjusted using the controls on the front of the amplifier, with access controlled via password or USB key in two security levels (User & Administrator). To protect the connected speakers, a limiter is integrated that limits the output power, whereby the maximum power (in watts) can be configured separately for each channel.

A preset library offers a selection of prepared speaker settings and complete system configurations that can easily be loaded onto the amplifier via USB stick. In this way, perfect sound and optimal speaker protection are guaranteed.

The simple source selection and the inputs designed as XLR and clamp connections offer a high degree of flexibility and compatibility in the input assignment. Speakon and clamp connections are available on the output side. The RS-232 control interface facilitates system integration. An optional Dante™ extension is available for the SMA series amplifiers, enabling reception and transmission of low latency, high quality audio over a standard network.
