The former describes that they can be used on construction sites while the latter refers to protection against foreign bodies and splash water. However, some cable drums should only be used indoors and therefore only have an IP 20 certification. All of our drums are comfortable to wear and allow them to be placed safely on various surfaces. Since the housing is made of a plastic-rubber mixture, they are particularly shock and impact resistant.
